Beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe it. From the jaw dropping cliffs of Positano and the charm of Amalfi to Capri's dolce vita, the irresistible beauty of the Italian coast sparkles with wonder and delight. What better place to celebrate our love story than against the azure backdrop of the sea?
The region's famed cuisine is divine in its simplicity, whether sampled in a traditional family kitchen or under the glow of candlelight on a sprawling terrace. Our accommodations for the trip are equal parts luxurious and atmospheric, with a rustic elegance all their own. Wandering out your front door, you’ll encounter charming cobblestone streets, fragrant lemon tree groves, and the undeniable allure of living on island time, factors that are sure to make this trip
one for the memory books.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES:
PRIVATE TRANSFERS FROM NAPLES TO POSITANO

Take the rest of the afternoon day unpack, unwind and settle into the gentle seaside rhythms of the Costa Amalfitana.
Tonight we've booked a romantic table for two for Sarah and Nick at La Sponda to celebrate Pink Moon.
B&R guides will accompany Mark and Jenna to a welcome dinner in the heart of town.
This morning, Sarah gets a spa day for some well-deserved bridal pampering at Le Sirenuse. Meanwhile, Nick, Mark and Jenna will have an adventure together this morning with the first bout of hiking in Paradise.
You’ll meet up with our B&R guide and be transported to nearby Montepertuso, an enchanting village high above Positano where time stands still. The old town is characterised by a massive rock face which towers into the sky, punctured by a natural opening (Montepertuso literally means “pierced rock”). Your guide will take you for a walk up the mountain where local legend sustains that an epic battle between the Virgin Mary and the Devil was fought, but you’ll find little reason for argument while surrounded by breathtaking views atop this majestic force of nature.
Your walk continues down all the way back down to colourful Positano where a lovely Easter lunch table awaits. In Italy, and especially in the south, the significance of the Easter holiday is on par with Christmas, so you're sure to be spoiled with some fabulous traditional dishes and general merriment. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon on the beach or strolling around town, exploring the shops, boutiques, and gelaterie!

With the warm sea breeze in our hair, we'll trek to the top of Punta Campanella with lunch at a casual spot reachable only on foot (with views and food that are well worth the effort). Following, we'll hop in a minivan for the quick ride back to the hotel.
Spend the afternoon exactly as you wish. Shop, swim or practice your Italian with Antonio, the charming owner of our five-star hotel, who treats us like family from the moment we arrive. The rest of the family arrives in the afternoon, and we'll make sure the rolling transfers from the airport to the hotel are smooth and seamless.
Tonight at the sun’s first hint of setting, we walk out through the town’s steep, winding streets to Next Two, an elegant wine bar, whose menu and attentive service will do full justice to the unforgettable scene of twinkling lights around us.

While Sarah and Nick enjoy time on their own this morning, the rest of us have two exciting options for the day. Shuttle 45 min along a beautiful coastal route to the small village of Bomerano in the Lattari Mountains to connect with the legendary Path of the Gods.
High above the clouds with views of the ambling coastline below, this heavenly walk will be accompanied by our local Amalfitano naturalist to better enjoy the wild arugula, natural rocky archways and the centuries-old terracing technique for successfully cultivating olives, lemons, nuts and grapes on such steep slopes. Lunch will follow at a local agriturismo where we’ll enjoy farm to table dining featuring vegetables from their organic garden and delicious grilled meats before hopping in a taxi back down to cheery Positano—or if you’re keen to continue walking, a panoramic path down the mountain leads straight to the village.
If you instead prefer time-travelling, we’ll catch a ride about one hour north to Pompeii accompanied by our fabulous local historian. Unparalleled in its ability to open a window into what life was actually like under the Roman Empire, we'll spend time exploring the ruins and learning about the infamous explosion of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch will follow at a local winery on the slopes of the volcano, paired of course with fabulous wines produced by the area's nutrient-dense soil, before catching a ride back to the hotel for the afternoon.
Come early evening, we'll link up with the bride and groom and head down to the dock to climb aboard a sea-worthy vessel. Tonight will be a Pink Moon inspired Welcome event! A cruise along the coast, casual dining on the water and celebratory fireworks seal the deal on a dreamy evening!

From here there are a few ways you can plan your own adventure: if you're keen to get your legs moving, join our guide on a walk along Pizzolungo, the coastal path with incredible views of the Faraglioni rocks. Through a network of pedestrian streets and steep staircases, you'll reach Capri’s grandest imperial villa, the two-thousand year old summer residence of Emperor Tiberius set on a sprawling panoramic promontory. If you'd rather stay in town you'll find unparalleled shopping, including our favourite sandal maker who will sculpt the perfect pair of leather sandals for your feet.
We'll all meet up again in the lemon groves of Da Paolino for a late lunch overlooking the aquamarine Mediterranean, of course, with time in the afternoon to explore Capri town before making your way back to the boat. We'll circle the island and glimpse the landmark villas that prove the everlasting importance of a sea-view terrace before slipping home to Positano.
At the first signs of sunset, stroll the sands of Positano towards a classic Neapolitan-style pizza dinner with the sound of the waves softly lapping nearby.
This morning, we'll board stylish private speedboats and head towards the legendary island of Capri. Once we dock at the Marina Grande, we'll immediately be whisked uphill in taxis to the island's namesake village, the heart of this famous island paradise.

Through an entertaining, hands-on class, we'll learn about many local specialities including eggplant parmigiana, homemade pasta, and delicately stuffed zucchini blossoms. Lunch will follow on the sunny outdoor terrace.
Next we'll make our way down to the water and catch floating taxis bound for Amalfi, the namesake town of the coast. Famed for its handmade paper, navigational history and striking cathedral, Amalfi is a joy to explore. After our visit and some time to visit the shops brimming with homemade paper, we’ll hop in taxis for the quick drive straight up the hill.
Depending on timing and energy levels, those who are up for an afternoon challenge can wind their way to Ravello on foot, progressing up through lemon groves and lush forests with fairytale glimpses of the coastline and valleys below. Eventually we’ll all arrive at our cliff-top hotel in medieval Ravello, with magnificent views of the sprawling Mediterranean sea.
For dinner this evening, you won't have to go far for a gourmet experience: Tonight is a private dinner Rossellini's, the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant. Cin cin!
A memorable experience awaits you should you choose to rise and shine early this morning. We'll start our walk at dawn with lanterns in hand, winding through the mountains streets above Ravello, greeting the day as the sun spills over the horizon.
Once we have significantly upped our store of endorphins, we'll enjoy a rustic breakfast high on the hill, with poetic views of the sunrise over the town. Of course, there's also no harm in getting some extra shuteye and waking to a sun-bathed terrace.
Whatever you decide, the rest of the day is yours — explore Ravello's picture-perfect alleyways, wander into local shops and cafes (we'll be sure to recommend our favorite spots for ceramics, cashmere and limoncello), or lounge pool-side. Come late afternoon, you've invited to partake in a lively local experience up the road in the village of Scala, the oldest on the Coast, for a casual focaccia and aperitivo in the private family home of our good friend, Rino!
Tonight we'll gather in the clifftop gardens of the Belmond Caruso for a very special celebration and rehearsal dinner hosted by The Martori's, canopied by silvery olive trees and twinkling stars.

DAY SEVEN: OUR WEDDING DAY
OUR WEDDING venue
Our wedding will be at the magical Villa Cimbrone on April 23rd, 2022. We'll swap vows in front of panoramic views of the ocean on the Infinity Terrace, then party the night away in the villa's beautiful historic crypt.
The ceremony location is a narrow pathway with a breathtaking view of the blue water below. In order to keep our ceremony as intimate and personal as possible, we are kindly requesting that guests drop their phones off at the "phone valet" before the ceremony. Any guests taking pictures in the middle of the aisle will block either Nick or Sarah from seeing each other as Sarah walks down the aisle, and we don't want to miss that special moment. Our vows will be short and sweet, and we promise to return your devices after so you can take a lot of pictures at the reception. Plus, we'll have a photographer and a videographer on hand to capture all the moments, so feel free to stay present!
